The Emotional Health Service (EHS) is a dynamic team of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists, Systemic Psychotherapists and Creative Therapists. We have staff working in specialist posts in Social Care and Schools. We also have cluster teams at Richmond (base Twickenham) and Kingston (base Chessington). We have a strong sense of team and work together to support children and young people’s emotional wellbeing. We deliver the service using Choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA). About the role As a Mental Health Clinician in the EHS Richmond Cluster you will be passionate about improving the mental health of children and young people and putting them at the centre of all you do. You will be part of an established team and be afforded many different opportunities to use your skills, including providing professional consultations, assessments, individual and group therapy. About you We are looking for a Permanent Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, CBT Therapist/ Mental Health Clinician (Band 7 equivalent) to join the Emotional Health Service and become part of our core team. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points: Putting children and young people first Be a Qualified Clinical or counselling Psychologist or CBT therapist with appropriate professional registration with HCPC. Be able to provide consultation and training to a wide range of professionals Have CAMHS experience in working with complex and vulnerable families Have knowledge of and experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties such as Autism and ADHD.
