£12.43- £12.85 Specialist Community Support Worker (SCSW), plus Travel paid at your hourly rate. Milage paid at 45p per mile. Free training and DBS. Holiday pay (28 days) and pension. FLEXIBLE HOURS We are looking for experienced staff to work in the Chelmsford area with individuals in their own homes. Shifts will include early, late, and daytime. What is a specialist? As a specialist, you will be trained to have a good understanding of mental health and/or autism and/or dementia and how this impacts our service users' day-to-day life. We equip you with strategies to best help the people you are supporting, and you will be provided with regular supervision and support to ensure you are confidently able to deliver the highest standards of care. Responsibilities Provide compassionate support to individuals with mental health challenges in community settings. Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication administration. Implement behavior management techniques and promote a safe environment. Drive clients to appointments and community activities as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate updates as required. Progression Are You Looking to Progress in Your Career?
