Shropshire Description: We are looking for a motivated, empathic and skilled mental health professional, who will contribute to the multi-disciplinary approach provided by The Keystone Academy. The successful candidate will be a team player, who is able to adapt and find creative ways to engage and support our learners. You will use a relational approach and be prepared to adapt and integrate a variety of counselling and therapeutic techniques to reach and meet the unique and individual needs of our pupils. Understanding and having the skills to adapt your approach when supporting and counselling children and young people with neurodivergent needs (including but not limited to autism, ADHD and speech, language and communication difficulties) will be an essential part of the role. The successful candidate will play a key role alongside the wider staff team, in providing holistic support for pupils and families attending the academy. In addition to providing counselling support, you will participate and help supervise and engage pupils during social times, modelling positive relationships and helping to maintain our calm and nurturing environment.
