Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

to work at a

Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)

School that caters for students in

KS1 through to KS4

based in

Northumberland . The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a

HLTA certification

or at a minimum have a

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification . They should have experience working with children and young people who need additional help daily and have a passion for education. The school delivers

learning on a holistic basis , enabling them to re-engage at their own speed and reach their full potential. The normal working pattern is

Monday to Friday

from 8:30am until 4:30pm and is a long-term position. The successful HLTA will have: Enthusiasm for working in education HLTA Qualification Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting student learning Experience working with children including those who have SEMH needs Leader Education can offer: Competitive pay rates Refer a friend or colleague bonus scheme: £100 per referral (terms apply) Free Mandatory Training A dedicated consultant to answer any queries and for ongoing support Potential permanent contract after a qualifying period Interested candidates are invited to submit a comprehensive CV outlining their teaching experience and qualifications relevant to this role.
