Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Temporary Mental Health Nurse to join our team at a prestigious private hospital in Horley which specializes in acute mental health. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough mental health assessments and evaluations. Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans. Administer medications and monitor their effects. Provide support and counseling to patients and their families. Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed. Clinical Duties: Monitor patients' progress and report any changes to the medical team. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and hospital policies. Support and Education: Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options. Promote mental health awareness and advocate for patients' needs. Provide mentorship and support to junior nursing staff and nursing students. Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance nursing skills. Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars relevant to mental health nursing. Qualifications: Education:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification. Licensure:

Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. Experience:

Previous experience in a mental health setting is essential. Skills: Strong clinical and assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care. Working Conditions: Hours:
