Meridian Business Support has an exciting opportunity for aRegistered Mental Health or Registered Learning and Disability Nurse to join our client based on the outskirts of York to offer evidence-based nursing care, support, and advice to service users and their carers with mental health needs, in a multidisciplinary setting , whilst understanding and implementing the organisation's mission, vision, and values.

As a Mental Health Nurse in this role, your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of duties aimed at supporting individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs. Below are the key aspects of your role and the qualifications and skills necessary for success:

Key Responsibilities

Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care to promote independence and social inclusion. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships within Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines. Oversee assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health nursing. Ensure compliance with local and national policies and legislation.

Qualifications and Skills Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin. Strong understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
