Job Overview: We are looking for skilled Mental Health Nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of patients. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, working in a variety of settings across Lancashire and South Cumbria, including community mental health teams, inpatient services, and specialist mental health units.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health issues. Assess, plan, and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Administer medications, therapies, and treatments in line with patient needs and clinical guidelines. Participate in care coordination, managing complex cases, and ensuring continuity of care. Support patients and their families throughout their mental health journey, promoting recovery and well-being. Contribute to service improvements and ensure compliance with clinical governance and professional standards. Actively participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.

What We're Looking For:

Band 5 Nurses: Newly qualified or with some experience in mental health nursing, looking to develop skills and gain experience. Band 6 Nurses: Experienced nurses with a proven track record in managing cases, providing leadership, and mentoring junior staff. Band 7 Nurses: Senior practitioners with expertise in specialist areas of mental health, taking on more advanced clinical roles and leading on service development. Band 8 Nurses: Highly experienced professionals with strategic leadership roles, responsible for driving clinical excellence and service delivery.

Requirements:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin. Experience working in mental health settings, such as inpatient, community, or specialist mental health services. Strong communication, assessment, and care planning skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and continuous professional development.
