About the Role: We are currently working alongside Belfast Health and Social Care Trust on a rewarding and challenging project to stabilise care packages for a looked-after child who has:

Experienced trauma due to abuse and neglect. Complex emotional and mental health needs that require specialist support. Endured multiple breakdowns in care arrangements, resulting in instability.

As part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will play a key role in creating a robust, stabilised care package tailored to meet this young person's emotional, educational, and social needs, helping them reintegrate successfully into their community.

Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with Belfast Health and Social Care and other professionals to design and deliver stabilised care packages. Address the emotional and wellbeing needs of vulnerable children and families. Contribute to assessments, planning, and monitoring to ensure care packages remain effective and sustainable. Support the integration of services to ensure a cohesive care plan for long-term success. Help improve community reintegration through support with education, social networks, and stability.

About You: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled social worker who has: A professional qualification in Social Work and is registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., NISCC, Social Work England). Strong experience working with looked-after children and addressing complex trauma. A track record of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams. A passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals and stabilising care packages.
