About the Role As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will support residents with daily living tasks such as cooking, attending appointments, medication management, and budgeting. You will encourage and assist our residents in re-learning life skills and developing new ones, all in a safe and supportive environment. You’ll celebrate every small step toward independence and mental health recovery, while also supporting residents through difficult times. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll work alongside colleagues to ensure that our residents live full, active, and independent lives. What We Offer We provide full training, starting with a comprehensive induction, buddy scheme, and virtual learning. You’ll also complete courses such as the Care Certificate, behaviour support, and first aid. There are endless opportunities for career development, including Health and Social Care Apprenticeships (Levels 2, 3, and 5) and management training. Whether you're aiming to progress to Team Leader, Service Manager, or want to specialise in a particular field, we’ll help you achieve your goals. If you're happy in your role, we’ll support you to thrive. Main Responsibilities Support service users with day-to-day activities, such as budgeting, meal preparation, and domestic tasks. Assist with grocery shopping, attending appointments, and taking prescribed medication. Encourage residents to engage in their local community, try new activities, and explore leisure facilities. Regularly review support plans to ensure they reflect residents' needs and aspirations. Work positively with your team and adhere to all policies, including confidentiality and safeguarding. Keep accurate, person-centred records and escalate concerns as necessary. What We're Looking For Compassionate, patient, and motivated to help others achieve independence. Willingness to work a rotational shift pattern, including waking nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
