All our roles make a positive impact on the lives of others, the purpose of this role is to:

Support and empower people affected by mental health issues to live their best lives, underpinned by the recovery model. Support people affected by mental ill health to get the right support early and encourage everyone to take up physical health activities, healthy eating programs, and physical health screening, where appropriate.

The key purpose of this role is to provide a safe, supportive, and stable environment for people experiencing mental health issues, improve their quality of life, reduce their social isolation, and become active citizens in their local community.

What we ask for from you:

Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English.

Able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 6 months recent experience providing support to people with a mental illness either in a paid or voluntary position OR demonstrate a minimum of 6 months experience of providing support in a paid or voluntary capacity in another care setting.

To be willing to work various shifts which may include days, nights, evenings, and weekends.

NISCC Registration or eligible to be registered from commencement of role.

Ability to demonstrate alignment with MindWise’s core values of Passion, Respect, Empathy, Togetherness, Openness & Transparency.
