Mental Health Support Worker Job Type: Full-time, long-term assignment with potential for permanent placement Location: Weston-Super-Mare, BS48 Salary: £12 - £15 per hour (experience-dependent) Axcis Education is thrilled to partner with a progressive alternative education provider in Weston-Super-Mare, offering a supportive and dynamic learning environment for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, challenging behaviours, and dyslexia. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Workers to join their team, providing personalised support to help students thrive both academically and emotionally. About the School:

This specialist school caters to students aged 4 to 16, offering a tailored and inclusive educational pathway for those requiring additional support. Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups to address their emotional, social and academic needs. Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning interventions and ensuring students are fully engaged. Managing challenging behaviours calmly and positively, promoting self-regulation and resilience. Building strong, trusting relationships with students, providing guidance and encouragement. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to implement individualised plans. What You Can Bring to the Role:
