35 hours a week SHIFT:

08:30-21:00PM & 21:00-08:30AM (occasional sleep in's required)

About Trevelyan: Based in the village of Bronwydd, just outside Carmarthen. (45-minute drive from Swansea) we provide support for six individuals with Mental Health needs, 4 males and 1 female in the main house and 1 male situated in the studio flat at the rear of the home. We assist them to develop individual coping techniques, which makes a noticeable difference to their everyday lives. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individuals’ specific needs. Individuals are supported to engage in their local community and to learn and practice new skills in a supported environment.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including: Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support. Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life. Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests. Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication. Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping. Assisting with personal care as required. Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking. Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching, and development.
