Ideally, candidates will have experience working as an MEP Project Manager on large-scale industrial and commercial projects.
In this role, you will oversee the installation and management of Mechanical & Electrical systems on site, ensure site safety, drive a culture of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices, manage project schedules and costs, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee day-to-day site operations on a £40 Million Pharmaceutical project.
The MEP Project Manager should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar position and should come from a trade background or be degree-qualified.
MEP Project Manager Responsibilities:
Overseeing procurement of sub-packages/contracts and materials. Liaising with clients over design variations. Managing the full site team (including 3rd party subcontractors). Ensuring projects are delivered to a high quality in line with the set specification and budget. Always ensuring health & safety is followed. Managing weekly design, progress, and commercial meetings.
MEP Project Manager Requirements:
3-7 years’ experience required. Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Proven record in coordinating and managing large projects.
