MEP Quantity Surveyor - Southampton Exciting opportunity for an MEP Quantity Surveyor with a National Market-leading Main Contractor's self-delivery MEP division of the business. This role is pivotal in managing the commercial resources of assigned projects, ensuring profitability, and maintaining high standards of delivery across diverse key schemes in the Southern region of the business. As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be a key part of the Mechanical and Electrical Team, managing the commercial resources of assigned projects to maximise planned gross margins through the effective placement and control of contracts and subcontracts. Joining the Southern region, you’ll have the opportunity of working on a variety of exciting schemes across sectors in and around Southampton Duties & Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy: Ensure compliance with the procurement strategy established at the outset of each project.

Valuation & Change Management: Measure and value project changes, providing advice on legal and contractual matters.

Project Progress: Evaluate and report on project and subcontractor progress.

Procurement Activities: Manage subcontract enquiries, conduct tender reviews, and oversee order production.

Qualifications & Requirements: Educational Background: Degree or HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent experience.

MEP Expertise: Experience and a sound understanding of MEP systems and surveying practices.

Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with main forms of contract, such as JCT and NEC.

Skillset: Strong numerical, communication, and negotiation skills with proficiency in standard QS tools.
