As they continue to grow, we're looking for a driven Merchandising Planning Manager to join their dynamic team at the heart of operations in Plymouth.Are you ready to make a tangible impact in a role that blends strategic planning, problem-solving, and creative thinking? As the Merchandising Planning Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless product availability across the retail network, helping drive the success of new store launches, and managing stock flow with precision.Key Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of daily availability reports, ensuring swift action on any product availability challenges.
  • Collaborate with web logistics teams to proactively address stock issues before they arise.
  • Monitor KPIs and take quick action on any critical issues.
  • Coordinate with logistics, buying, and merchandising teams to manage SKU profiles and plan ranges effectively.
  • Ensure store floorplans align with Planogram allocations, working with store teams to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Play a key role in new store launches, ensuring stock is fully available from day one.
  • Tackle out-of-stock situations by identifying replacement SKUs and leveraging in-depth sales stock analysis.
  • Support the seamless exit of old stock while maintaining smooth store operations.
  • Analyse stock profiles to ensure optimal levels between deliveries and avoid low stock situations.
What You Bring:
  • Experience in logistics or merchandising is a plus, but enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key.
  • SQL experience is desirable, though full training will be provided.
  • A strong ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Analytical prowess, with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
