Support the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business by driving effective demand planning and inventory management across the EMEA region. This role is crucial for optimising product availability, minimising excess stock, and aligning inventory with sales forecasts to meet consumer demand and maximise profitability. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO? As our D2C Planner you will be responsible for: Demand Planning and Forecasting Develop accurate sales forecasts for the D2C business, leveraging historical data, market insights, and promotional calendars. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure forecasts align with business objectives and adjust forecasts based on real-time performance. Inventory Management Optimise inventory levels across the EMEA region, ensuring product availability while minimising overstock and markdown risks. Track and manage stock levels to meet demand fluctuations, sales targets, and service level agreements (SLAs). Sales and Promotions Alignment Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to plan for promotional events, product launches, and seasonal campaigns, ensuring stock availability aligns with demand. Adjust inventory allocations and forecasts for peak sales periods and promotions to maximise sales opportunities. Data Analysis and Reporting Conduct regular analysis of inventory metrics, such as stock turn, sell-through rates, and forecast accuracy, to drive continuous improvement. Generate and maintain reports to track performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for the D2C and planning teams. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across D2C, supply chain, and product teams to ensure alignment on planning and inventory strategies. Partner with supply chain teams to manage replenishment schedules and coordinate timely stock transfers to meet D2C demand. WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE? To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: Proven experience in demand planning or inventory management, ideally within a D2C, retail, or e-commerce environment. Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, or similar). Solid understanding of inventory management principles, including stock turn, safety stock, and sell-through optimisation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally to align on strategies and objectives. Adaptable and proactive approach, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
