About the role At Perkbox Vivup, our Ecommerce function is all about creating an exceptional customer journey, driving conversions, and maximising every interaction on our platform. As Merchandising Executive, you'll support the Ecommerce strategy by managing promotional banners, products, and recommended ranges. Using data insights, you'll optimise the user experience, implement tactical activities, and ensure key products are visible and available in B2C communications. What You’ll Be Doing Product Management : Collaborate strategically with external suppliers and internal Marketing teams to facilitate precise product platform integration, managing stock availability and conducting comprehensive performance analysis across critical metrics like click-through rates, basket additions, conversions, and sales. Category Management : Drive category performance insights, optimise product placement, refine category structures, and strategically map product categories to broaden customer product exposure and enhance digital merchandising effectiveness. Search Optimisation : Analyse search term performance, identify range gaps, ensure product metadata accuracy for optimal search results, and leverage search reporting to propose innovative testing opportunities. Technical Projects : Support functionality testing, contribute to e-commerce process streamlining, and propose user experience and customer journey enhancements to maintain platform competitiveness. Website Banners : Execute and maintain campaign promotional banners across client portals, conducting regular audits and implementing timely, contextually relevant banner refreshes aligned with seasonal and campaign activities. Stock Management : Proactively maintain key product line inventory, ensuring popular and constrained products remain available, with capability for manual product creation as required. Supplier Relationships : Generate insightful reporting for external suppliers, maintain strong collaborative partnerships through regular communications, product launches, and trading opportunity discussions, with flexibility for occasional in-person meetings. Analytics Collaboration : Work closely with the Data team to continuously enhance reporting mechanisms, benchmark performance, identify emerging trends, challenges, and strategic opportunities. What We’re Looking For Minimum of one year in E-Commerce or Trading-focused roles, demonstrating a proven track record of digital retail performance and strategic commercial understanding. Exhibits genuine enthusiasm for retail and digital commerce, with a dynamic approach to emerging market trends and consumer engagement strategies. Advanced IT literacy with robust numerical capabilities, particularly demonstrating expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. Delivers high-calibre written and verbal communication, capable of articulating complex commercial insights with clarity and professional precision. Strong influencing, problem-solving, and decisive decision-making skills, underpinned by the ability to navigate complex commercial environments. Exceptional planning and organisational capabilities, characterised by meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence. Proven team player with a positive, solution-oriented 'can-do' attitude, capable of driving collective performance and maintaining high team morale. Demonstrates high energy, self-motivation, and intellectual curiosity, with a demonstrable capacity to adapt to new challenges and proactively propose innovative working methodologies. Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 would be a bonus.
