The Role As Fraud and Underwriting Manager, you'll lead a team in developing sophisticated risk assessment models and fraud detection systems. Key Responsibilities of the Fraud and Underwriting Manager: Oversee the development and implementation of underwriting and fraud detection engines Direct a team of analysts in creating and refining pricing models Represent the company at industry conferences and user groups Provide strategic direction for the pricing and fraud teams Collaborate with senior management to align risk assessment strategies with business objectives Required knowledge and experience for the Fraud and Underwriting Manager role: Extensive experience in underwriting and fraud analysis within the financial services sector Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team In-depth understanding of risk assessment models and fraud detection techniques Excellent communication skills for presenting at conferences and liaising with stakeholders Proven track record in driving innovation and process improvement in risk management
