MET Technician - Ashford Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 17:00 Friday: 07:00 - 15:00 Saturdays: Optional (paid as overtime) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + £2,000 incentive paid after 6 months of service
Our Client is a well-established Bodyshop based in Ashford, offering a fantastic working environment, with a business that continues to expand. Due to this growth, an immediate opportunity has arisen for a skilled MET Technician to join their busy team.
MET Technician Responsibilities:
Dismantling accident-damaged vehicles. Rebuilding as appropriate. Undertaking mechanical repair work on all makes and models of vehicles in a safe and economical manner, in line with company standards to ensure customer expectations are met.
The Ideal Candidate:
Highly competent in all areas of body repair and accustomed to working to high standards, with a passion for 'getting it right first time.' Flexible approach and a positive attitude, with the ability to work using your own initiative and a determination to achieve complete customer satisfaction. Experienced MET Technician, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ideally with or working towards an ATA accreditation. Previous experience as a Mechanical Electrical Technician (MET) within a busy Bodyshop environment. Confident, with the ability to work on a wide range of makes and models of vehicles. Demonstrates an understanding of customer expectations in relation to the repair process. Strong technical knowledge. Must hold a valid Driving Licence.
