MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are representing a leading automotive repair bodyshop who are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join their team, commutable from Bolton, Bury, Swinton, Chorley, Wigan, Leigh, Darwen etc.
As an MET Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth functioning of mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs on damaged vehicles. You will be responsible for the repairing and replacement of components. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Diagnosing issues, repairing, or replacing components. Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and trim issues on vehicles with effectiveness. Repairing and replacing damaged components, electrical wiring, interior trim, and mechanical systems. Conducting thorough inspections and testing to validate the safety of the repaired vehicles. Stripping and refitting parts on vehicles. Carrying out 4-wheel alignment. Qualifications:
Previous experience as an MET Technician in an accident repair centre / bodyshop. ATA Qualified. Flexible Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday flexible working week, as the repair centre is open from 6AM to 5PM (giving you the great work/life balance you are looking for). Contracted to work 40 hours. Excellent bonus system in place. Overtime available (overtime paid over 40 hours). Saturday: The repair centre is open 8AM to 11AM (optional if you wish to work overtime). Benefits:
Holiday Allowance: 30 days (this is inclusive of the bank holidays). Pension Scheme. Competitive salary.
