YOLO Recruitment is currently looking for a Bodyshop Mechanic / Stripper / Fitter / MET Technician / Bodyshop Technician / Body Fitter for their client's bodyshop based in Uxbridge.
As the Vehicle Damage Mechanical, Electrical and Trim Technician, you will identify damaged mechanical and electrical components on damaged vehicles, and remove and refit these components before and after body repair work has been carried out.
Duties of a Bodyshop Mechanic / Stripper / Fitter / MET Technician / Bodyshop Technician / Body Fitter:
Assessing faults Preparing job cards and assessment reports Accessing and removing mechanical and electrical components Removing and fitting non-structural body panels Removing and re-installing mechanical and electrical systems Vehicle valeting
Ideally, you will have qualifications as a MET Technician. You
MUST
have previous work experience in a dealership or bodyshop, as well as tools and a full UK driving license.
The hours for this Bodyshop Mechanic / Stripper / Fitter / MET Technician / Bodyshop Technician / Body Fitter role are based on a 45-hour week: Monday to Friday 8.00 - 5.00 and every other Saturday 9.00 - 1.00.
