Metal Fabrication Technician
* Skilled Sheet Metal position that involves metalwork, fabrication, and welding.

We are currently working with an established engineering manufacturer to help recruit for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker. The position has been created due to growth. Chance to be part of a smaller, friendly working team.
Salary:
c£38,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. The company has an internal grading system to show how you can progress.
This Metal Fabrication Technician job will suit: Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding environments. Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, fabrication techniques, and machining operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

The Metal Fabrication Technician job will involve: Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters, and sheet rollers. Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD files to produce sheet metal components. Perform welding and fabrication tasks on a variety of metals, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Repair and fabricate metal parts using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Laser welding (laser not a mandatory skill but is used for some of our welding processes; training will be provided).
