Our client: A well established manufacturing company is seeking a talented Metal Fabricator to join their team. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, using a variety of tools and machines to cut, shape, and weld metal parts, and assembling the final product. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the requirements for metal fabrication projects Use a variety of tools and equipment such as shears, brakes, and welding machines to cut, bend, and shape metal Weld components into place to assemble the final product Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain and repair equipment as necessary Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and equipment Ability to operate various metalworking machines and tools Welding certification preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Day-to-day: Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings Operating metalworking machines and tools Cutting, bending, and shaping metal components Welding and assembling metal parts Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy Maintaining equipment and a clean work area
