The MetCC Welfare Support Team Supervisor role is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist team that promotes and supports staff welfare for Met Command & Control. This fast-paced environment handles 13,000 emergency and non-emergency phone calls and 12,000 digital interactions daily. As a key member of our team, you will improve the support offered to employees, enhance recognition and reward systems, and work to reduce absenteeism. Your task will be to coordinate welfare support services, assist first-line managers with staff welfare needs, and help create a culture of inclusivity and confidence throughout Met Command & Control. This highly rewarding role includes a competitive salary, which consists of a basic salary of £34,448 (increasing annually), a location allowance of £1,841, a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000, and a 12.5% shift disturbance allowance. You'll also have opportunities to design and deliver people strategies while supervising your team. About the Role

Met Command & Control provides London's police response service, handling thousands of emergency and non-emergency calls daily. We're seeking people-focused individuals to join our newly formed Welfare Support Team, established to improve support for our workforce and enhance recognition and reward systems. As a Welfare Support Team Supervisor, you'll promote engagement across the command, assist in creating a culture of inclusivity and confidence, and ensure wellbeing services are offered to staff. You'll work closely with first-line managers to address staff welfare needs and help develop people strategies. Your Key Responsibilities
