Metering Engineer Dual Fuel , you will be responsible for conducting site surveys, installations, and upgrades of metering solutions across the UK. Your role will involve dual fuel smart meter installations, gas and electricity meter upgrades, and implementing
non-intrusive EMS solutions
to help businesses better manage their energy consumption. You'll work in collaboration with sales and energy management teams, ensuring customers receive expert guidance and practical solutions tailored to their needs. With a hands-on approach, you will navigate active sites, offering a professional and approachable service that strengthens customer relationships. Key Competencies To excel in this role, you will need: At least
three years of experience
as a
dual fuel metering engineer . Strong understanding of
electricity and gas infrastructure
in large multi-site organisations. Familiarity with
gas monitoring equipment , including
loggers and meters (U6 U160) , with
rotary and turbine experience
being beneficial. Knowledge of
three-phase electricity, whole current, and CT metering
is advantageous. Ability to work independently on active sites while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to travel for site visits. Essential Qualifications Gas Qualifications: MOCOPA Smart Metering (Gas)
Low & Medium Pressure MET4 (or working towards) ICPN, TPCP1A, COCN1 CMA1/CCN1/CESP1, REGT1 City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in gas discipline Diploma in Smart Metering Gas Electric Qualifications: MOCOPA Smart Metering (Electricity)
Single & Multi-phase 18th Edition CoMCoP/SMICoP Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering CT/VT & Whole Current Desirable Certifications: Gas Safe Registered IOSH/Relevant Health & Safety Certifications PASMA & NICEIC Registration Offer Details Salary:
