We are looking for an IT professional with knowledge of Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience in scripting and/or automation (e.g., BASH, PowerShell, or Python). A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration is essential. Moreover, skills in documentation and dashboard creation will be advantageous. Familiarity with database systems and query languages (e.g., SQL) is also preferable, but not essential. Experience in ensuring the integrity and reliability of data operations is a key requirement.
As part of our team based in Blackburn, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our file transfer and interface systems. This includes creating and managing dashboards to continuously monitor the health of file transfer interfaces. You will regularly review and refine systems and processes to enhance performance, reliability, and compliance. Additionally, you will ensure secure and efficient file transfers across internal and external platforms, oversee SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocols) accounts, interface storage, and archiving. Collaboration with IT and data teams to seamlessly integrate these systems into broader data pipelines is a significant aspect of this role.
