MI Analyst

to work on our

E.ON Smart Metering

contract in

Bootle . As an MI Analyst you will be part of our MI & Reporting Team who are responsible for providing the Smart Metering contract with robust Management Information reporting to support in strategic business decisions and performance based analysis. As the MI Analyst your responsibilities will include: To create, maintain and update Management Information reporting on daily, weekly and Monthly basis. To support both the Field and Back Office Management teams to ensure they have the relevant information required to carry out business based strategic decisions. To understand all analysis produced, so it can be commented on for changing environments and audiences (from director level through to field technician). To question, validate and correct MI produced elsewhere to ensure it is fit for use. To create on/off analysis on issues arising to understand the risks and opportunities faced by Field Operations. Build reports from scratch to a specification from management including using tabular and graphic presentation where required. Test reports when changes are made to ensure the output is what is expected. Build and document all end to end reporting (including version control). To support MI Team Leader with ad-hoc requests from different areas of the business. Build a sound knowledge of the business by creating and maintaining key contacts who you will support in the long term. Contribute to the successful team environment with the aim of meeting team, departmental and organisational objectives. Ensuring that reporting deadlines are met and Field Operations safety targets are monitored. Build a good working relationship with Stakeholders and other members of the Smart Metering Contract. Skills & Knowledge Requirements Essential:

Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge. Excellent numerical skills. Proven, strong, analytical background and able to demonstrate a robust methodology to problem solving / analysis. Basic to intermediate skills in MS Office. To understand the intricacies of the Field Operations business and its stakeholders, so analysis can show impact of decisions internally and externally. Able to listen to and understand requirements. Logical and organised. Excellent time management. Ability to prioritise workload, make decisions and meet challenging deadlines. Good verbal and written communication skills. Adhering to processes. Able to understand when self-help is required and ask for it. Good stakeholder management skills. Desirable:

Experience with Power BI. Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Experience with SQL. Experience with Visual Basic. What’s in it for you?
