Lab based - Slough Responsibilities The Microbiology Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all samples received in the laboratory are correctly recorded and processed to client requirements within the appropriate time frame. The Microbiology Analyst should be familiar with the regulatory requirements specific to the laboratory and ensures all users are in compliance with those standards. The Microbiology Analyst will assist in maintaining the laboratory accreditation to ISO 17025. The Microbiology Analyst will assist ensuring that all instrumentations/equipment are functioning properly to enable confidence in results generated. The Person Comfortable standing and walking for most of the day, due to the nature of the work. GCSE in Science and an interest in science. Excellent IT skills with a high level of accuracy along with an eye for detail. Excellent communication and organisation skills. Able to work within set targets and goals, and manage expectations.
