On behalf of an Acute district Hospital in Mid Yorkshire, I’m looking for an experienced Microbiology Consultant who could start asap and cover a minimum of 3 months of service.
This locum position is likely to be extended.
Schedule:
Mon – Fri, 9-17 Predominantly, onsite presence will be needed but may be able to offer some remote working. On-calls:
1 in 4 Most on-call activity is remotely delivered via telephone or using remote IT access; on-site attendance is required to support significant incidents or complex cases. Duties:
Consultation and advisory service to colleagues in the Trust and, from time to time, primary care and local mental health trust. Support to regular clinical meetings and to postgraduate activities. Infection prevention and control advice cover when the infection control lead is away. Sharing with the other three consultant microbiologists the task of providing integrated clinical microbiology service.
