Terumo Aortic is currently recruiting for a Microbiology Technician. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to provide essential support to our Quality Control (QC) department, primarily focused on microbiology. This role offers the chance to work in a high-quality, regulated environment within the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all microbiological tests in accordance with procedures, including:

Sterility control Water and product bioburden testing Endotoxin testing Raw material testing Environmental monitoring (EM) of cleanrooms

Prepare and manage laboratory media and goods receipt Conduct equipment verification and validation work Maintain routine laboratory tasks Compile and present data for management reviews Perform microbiology awareness sessions Raise QCO/ECP/CRB changes and prepare detailed reports What We're Looking For: Previous experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, or laboratory industries Proven experience in high-quality and regulated environments Proficiency in Excel and Word for Windows Exceptional attention to detail Cleanroom and laboratory experience essential
