Job Description Version 1 is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps Lead DBA consultant with proven experience in Oracle ERP.

The successful candidate will join our UK-based Oracle ERP Managed Services team, forming part of Version 1’s ERP Practice. The candidate should be customer-focused and process-driven with excellent documentation skills. They will also be capable of mentoring team members to coach them to think and work both independently and as part of a team where required.

The ability to prioritize effectively and work smart on several customer systems concurrently is required for this demanding and challenging role.

The successful candidate for this role will need to be based in the UK and eligible for security clearance.

Qualifications Required Skills: A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a DBA support analyst or similar role Providing day-to-day DBA support for multiple customers, completing standard DBA support tasks for Oracle EBS Versions 11i, 12.1.3, and 12.2.x, including issues, cloning, and patching Experience with RMAN backups, performance issue fixes, Shell Scripting, TLS and jar signing certificate implementations Experience with external access configuration, load balancing and shared filesystems Creating, updating, and resolving Oracle service requests (SRs) and working with technical and functional consultants to deliver client requirements Liaise directly with customers to ensure all requests for change are properly designed, assessed, prioritized, and managed through to completion. Identifying persistent problems and work with key stakeholders to address the root causes. Disaster Recovery site maintenance and participation in regular DR tests Conduct DB /OS health check ups ITIL Process Knowledge, preferably ITIL Foundation certified Willing to work out of standard hours as the role requires and be part of an on-call rota Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, and support complex systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Assist with transitioning clients into managed service following projects and from other suppliers. Projects - Upgrades, Migrations, Lift and Shift On-premises to OCI/Cloud Experience in database upgrades and EBS point release upgrades Desirable Skills

Hands on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and supporting OCI PaaS applications and databases Experience with RAC and ASM Experience with Single Sign On Experience in Linux Administration Experience with migrations: on-premises to OCI, Legacy Migration and Hardware Migration Experience with EBS version upgrades (R12.1 to R12.2) Knowledge of JD Edwards and PeopleSoft applications Additional Information At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their well-being, professional growth, and financial stability.
