Ingatestone & Fryerning C of E Junior School, part of the Mid Essex Anglican Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint two Mid-Day Assistants to join our dedicated team of lunchtime support staff. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting our students during lunchtime and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Actual salary for 7.5 hours: £4182.68
Responsibilities:
Supervising students during lunchtime and ensuring their safety and well-being
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values
Assisting with the set-up and clearing away of lunchtime equipment and facilities
Providing basic first aid if required
Liaising with other members of staff and parents if necessary
Requirements:
A friendly and approachable manner
The ability to work well as part of a team
A commitment to promoting the school's values and ethos
A willingness to undertake any necessary training
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
The position is for 7.5 hours per week (11.45am - 1.15pm Monday to Friday), working term-time only (38 weeks per year).
