We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated software developer to join our expanding team and work on our Nextrasoft workforce platform, developing new features, building custom solutions, troubleshooting and bug fixing. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various software development projects, working closely with experienced engineers. You will be involved in application development, utilising a range of programming languages and technologies. You will work from our office in Hertford (SG14 1DT) 5 days a week with the option to work from home occasionally. This is a 6-month starting contract with the option to become Full Time after a successful probation period. Required Skills:

3-5 years experience in software development, including designing, coding and testing. Ability to work with an existing complex code base. Ability to solve complex software issues using analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other software engineers, product managers and other team members. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner. A keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of the software. Interest in learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies to stay at the forefront of software development trends. Desirable but not essential:

Exposure to PowerShell, Figma, C#, AWS, Azure Experience with agile development methodology This position provides an excellent foundation for your career in software engineering.
