Advanced Recruit are recruiting for a multi-skilled MIG welder/fabricator for a well-established company based in the West Midlands. This role is ideal for someone looking to further progress their career within a forward-thinking company.
Job Duties
MIG welding and fabrication working on aluminium and mild steel products for various sectors of the highways industry.
Welding on products such as high gauge structural and sheet metal based.
Be required to fabricate the products from start to finish using saws/cutting tools and other equipment.
Using an overhead crane to move metal around the shop floor.
Experience/Requirements
Ability to read welding drawings.
Experience working with aluminium is essential.
Experience working on mild steel products with various thicknesses and sizes.
To be able to work as part of a team.
To maintain a clean working environment.
Overhead crane experience would be massively advantageous.
The package
Starting pay range is £15.50 - £16.00.
Shift allowance on the afternoon shift.
Full-time role within the company after a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.
Working hours are based on a 2-shift rotation: 06:00 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 06:00 till 12:00, 12:00 - 18:00.
