Perform preventative maintenance service on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimum availability. Monitor and record performance of electrical and mechanical equipment to determine improvement or optimisation. Conduct fault analysis independently. General administration and control of maintenance activities. Assist with planned maintenance work on all downstream plants. Promote 5S activities according to procedure and standards. Perform and ensure hazard identification risk assessment process is always followed. Conduct inspection as per register allocation (all machines and equipment). Perform scheduled logbook and PM inspections. Ensure clear and descriptive reporting daily on all tasks and activities. Work overtime as requested and perform standby duties. Qualifications

Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 3 (NQF 4/10) Experience and Requirements

Thorough knowledge and experience on fault finding. Good knowledge of PLC's. Knowledge of electronic components and circuit diagrams. Knowledge of AC and DC drives and motors and generators will be advantageous. Knowledge of electrical/mechanical drawings and circuits will be advantageous. Experience on hydraulic and pneumatic systems will be advantageous. Computer literate (Intermediate level Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Post qualification experience in a maintenance environment will be advantageous. Experience as an artisan. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
