Excellent Performance-Related Bonus About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Care Home Manager to lead a residential care home in Woodbridge, Suffolk. This elegant home offers residential and dementia care in a homely environment with spacious grounds for residents to enjoy. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring exceptional care is provided while meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy. As a regulated business, the manager is expected to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and possess a strong understanding of all relevant legislation and regulations. The manager will be supported by external Operations and Central teams, as well as an internal Deputy Manager, Administrator, and Hospitality and Housekeeping teams to deliver smooth operations and outstanding care. Reporting to:

Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to the staff team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a skilled and committed team to deliver person-centred care. Ensure the home meets all CQC and regulatory requirements while maintaining exceptional care standards. Manage the home's budget, meeting financial targets and effectively controlling costs. Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote services. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns effectively. Ensure timely and efficient completion of administrative tasks and record-keeping. Continuously monitor and evaluate performance, identifying and implementing improvements. Manage and mitigate risks to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff. Skills and Attributes Proven experience managing a residential care home. Strong knowledge of CQC standards with a track record of working towards Outstanding ratings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and professionals. Demonstrated marketing and business acumen within the private care sector, including running a commercially successful care home. Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
