Our Client is proud to be a privately owned British company and one of the UK's leading providers of container transport services. They operate a fleet of 60+ dedicated vehicles and 80+ trailers from depots in Felixstowe, Southampton, and Birmingham operating 24/7. Their customers are Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, Importers, Exporters, and other container haulage companies. Our Client provides a winning combination of an experienced team of talented transport professionals, a network of depots in strategic locations, a modern low carbon fleet, and a focus on providing the very best in customer services. We are looking for HGV I Curtainsider drivers. Must have experience with curtainsiders and good spoken English. Working Monday to Friday days with nights out during the week. Guaranteed 10-hour shift. Minimum Requirements: HGV I licence Digi CPC No more than 6 points No DD, DR, or IN Job Role: Running out of Felixstowe. Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Plan and execute delivery routes based on customer orders and delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle. Compensation: Rate of pay from £17.50 to £21.00 per hour. Overtime available. Night out rate £25.00.
