Job Title : Mission Planning Systems Engineer
Salary : Up to £48,000 depending on experience
Location : Bristol (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working : Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working.
Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

You will be conducting systems design activities for mission planning products. You will provide key inputs to requirements capture, design freezes, system integration and testing through to full product verification and certification. You will work closely with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other parties to enable robust design and system validation.
What we're looking for from you:
Understanding of System Engineering Process is essential with recent experience in a systems engineering role ideally across the full lifecycle. Experience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management essential. Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning a number of teams and locations is essential. Experience of technical problem solving and a strong ability to think analytically. General understanding of mission planning principles would be beneficial. Engineering degree or equivalent.
