You will play a key role in bringing components and systems together to form a System of Systems.
Understanding and manage the maturity of our engineering solutions as they develop.
Supporting in concepting, architecting, design and testing of Mission Systems.
Involved in elements of the qualification and certification of Mission Systems.
Manage the creation of engineering documents that form part of the Systems Engineering process.
Driving and coordinating collaboration with team members, multi-disciplinary internal specialists, and external partners.
Qualifications:
A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience. Systems Engineering and Engineering lifecycle experience. Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (eg SysML & Matlab). Please be aware that many roles working for BAE Systems will be subject to both security and export control restrictions. These restrictions mean that factors including your nationality, any previous nationalities you have held, and your place of birth may limit those roles you can perform for the organisation. All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
