Our client is an independent firm seeking a tax professional to join a growing tax team. In this mixed tax role, you will deal with both personal and corporate tax for HNW individuals, entrepreneurs, and their businesses. Day to day responsibilities will include:
Personal tax compliance including preparing and reviewing tax returns for director/shareholders, landlords, sole traders, partnerships, and trusts.
Managing the P11D process and reviewing the forms prepared by junior members of staff.
Preparation and submission of 60-Day CGT Returns.
Preparation of disclosures for HMRC.
Working with partners on tax advisory work including remuneration planning, capital allowances for FHLs, CGT including MBOs, company reorganisations, gifts of shares, and sales of businesses for sole traders and partnerships, as well as IHT.
Training junior members of staff, liaising with HMRC on various matters, and assisting with a wide range of internal and client queries.
Excellent prospects in this role would consider a hire at tax senior or tax manager level. Hybrid and flexible working available, making this a great local option.
