Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading HVAC Company based in Keele. Due to expansion, they are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Air Conditioning Service/Breakdown Engineer with strong technical experience, including expertise in chillers and site management. In this mobile role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in both commercial and domestic properties. Paid door-to-door with 30 minutes a day deducted for travel. Call out rota is currently 1 week in every 6-8 weeks. Call out is paid at £100 for the week's cover, this is worked out as £10 per day Monday - Friday and £25 per day Saturday and Sunday. If you get a call out, it is paid at £40 for the first hour and then time and a half for every hour after.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend service and reactive breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform timely and cost-effective repairs. Conduct regular servicing and safety checks on all air conditioning systems, including chillers. Use fault-finding expertise to provide first-time fixes and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Take responsibility for running a site, managing work effectively, and liaising with clients and management. Make on-site decisions regarding repair requirements and liaise with management and customers to ensure timely resolution. Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with current regulations and client/site rules. Provide quotes for additional works as needed and take a proactive approach to identifying extra opportunities. Accurately complete all required documentation and promptly communicate relevant details to the office. Maintain company property (vehicles, uniforms, tools) in clean and good working condition. Conduct site and vehicle audits, post-work inspections, and attend engineer meetings.

Essential Skills & Qualifications: Recognised air conditioning apprenticeship with proven experience in the commercial sector. Expertise in servicing, fault finding, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems, including chillers. Strong technical knowledge and ability to manage and run a site effectively. Working knowledge of test equipment, including electrical multi-meters. Full UK driving license. Subject to pass a DBS Check. Flexibility to travel to multiple sites, including occasional wider travel, and work additional hours as required.
