Mobile Developer – Fully Remote

Permanent position based in County Antrim. Who's the company? My client is a software company that provides mobile workforce management and field service solutions for a range of industries. Founded in Belfast, they have additional offices in the United Kingdom and the ROI. Their software helps organizations optimize field operations and improve the efficiency and productivity of their mobile workforce. The company serves various industries, including healthcare, local government, facilities management, and utilities. What's the role? My client is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join their growing team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for clients, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing applications. What will I be doing? Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and troubleshoot issues with application code and integration with backend services. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development. What do I need to succeed? Degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in Android app development using Kotlin and Java. Experience with Cordova. Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android app architecture. Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON. Experience with agile software development methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
