Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with flexibility for shift work, evenings, and weekends as needed. ParetoFM is currently seeking a skilled Electrical & Mobile Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting blend of site-specific and mobile work, including 2-3 shifts per week at a dynamic music venue in Wolverhampton, with the remainder covering additional mobile shifts across Birmingham and nearby locations. Flexibility is essential as schedules may adapt based on venue needs and mobile assignments. As part of the events team at our live music venue, you will support electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, ensuring all equipment is maintained and ready for both event and non-event days. You’ll also be responsible for mobile engineering duties across client sites, contributing to reactive and preventive maintenance on M&E assets, responding to issues promptly, and delivering high-quality support. Key Responsibilities:

Take overall responsibility for the timely completion of maintenance and reactive tasks on client assets. Conduct regular inspections (including statutory, mandatory, and insurance inspections) to ensure M&E systems are operating safely and efficiently, covering fire safety, firefighting, security, and life safety systems. Maintain accurate records using computer-based management systems, including statutory testing, inspection, and technical reports. Perform necessary maintenance on M&E systems, such as electrical, heating, hot water, fire alarms, security systems, lifts, and event-specific lighting and audio-visual setups. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors during maintenance and emergency repairs, both in and out of hours. Assist clients in setting maintenance priorities, forward programmes, and budgets, providing M&E technical advice as required. Engage with other ParetoFM staff and client teams to ensure best practices in M&E maintenance are shared and implemented. Implement the Asset Management Plan, supporting the planning and management of works across various locations. Act as the main point of contact for the client, ensuring excellent service and swift response to issues. Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3

in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Inspection and Testing Certification

(C&G Electrical Installation, Testing 2391/2394/2395/AM2). 17th or 18th Edition

certification. AM2

(desirable) and

IOSH Working/Managing Safety

(desirable). Minimum of L8 Awareness

formal training. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based systems and software-driven lighting controls. Key Skills:

In-depth expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering principles, with the ability to work unsupervised. Familiarity with commercial building environments, with a solid grasp of legal compliance and health and safety requirements. Excellent communication and customer service skills, demonstrating a proactive, team-oriented approach. Preferred

IPAF

certification (3A – Mobile Vertical). This role reports to the Technical Account Manager and includes the opportunity to train and develop an Electrical Apprentice on-site.
