Midlands and surrounding areas We are recruiting for an innovative market leader within the industry who can offer unlimited progression and technical development. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to showcase their skills across multiple state-of-the-art automated facilities within the Midlands and surrounding areas. You'll be based at home and travel between sites within the group, providing expert support for both planned and reactive maintenance activities. As the go-to expert for PLC and controls systems, you'll handle fault-finding, modifications, and integration using the latest Siemens software. Additionally, you'll utilize your electrical expertise to maintain and repair site machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role offers autonomy, flexibility, and a chance to manage your own diary while working with some of the most advanced systems in the industry. Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer: Fault-find, modify, and integrate Siemens PLC software to address controls and automation issues. Willingness to travel extensively within the Midlands and surrounding areas, managing your own schedule to meet the demands of multiple sites. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues under pressure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with site teams, colleagues, and management effectively. Provide hands-on technical support to a range of facilities, ensuring all equipment operates at peak performance. Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
