Mobile Field Service Engineer - Cardiff A leading plant hire company has key requirements for a Field Service Engineer based within Cardiff to cover the surrounding areas. The company is well established within the UK and has 7 depots and wants to grow further. With a work hard, play hard attitude, the ideal candidate will be looking to progress further within their career and grow within the company.

The Successful Field Service Engineer will be: As a Field Service Engineer, you'll conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of generators to ensure performance and reliability up to 1250 kVA. Field Service Engineers will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimize downtime, or escalate to the Technical Team for additional support if necessary. The successful Field Service Engineer will travel to customer sites and carry out planned and reactive work in Cardiff and the surrounding areas. As a Field Service Engineer, you will work independently, plan your time to prioritize your workload, and ensure that you have the correct equipment for each job.

To be successful in the Field Service Engineer application you will need:

NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent in electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience in power engineering or a similar industry working on high kVA generators. Basic required tools. A valid driving license as travel to client locations is necessary. A good work ethic, a desire to progress within the company, and an ability to ensure work is to the highest standard.

Role Benefits: Basic salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday, no weekends. 40 hours per week, with overtime and on-call available, company van provided. Overtime outside of working hours is at time and a half, then double time all day Sunday and after 10 PM every day. Health care cash back scheme and career development opportunities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
