We are currently seeking a professional Mobile HVAC Engineer. You will attend planned and reactive jobs across a variety of client sites across the region. As the HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for: Working independently as well as in a team to undertake the Planned and reactive maintenance services on our client’s premises, ensuring compliance with the specification, PPM, Schedules and Procedures, completing paperwork records and providing quotations for outstanding actions. Responding to call-out requests to ensure clients’ systems are not prejudiced and to maintain continuity of operation as far as practical circumstances allow. Reporting, quoting, and acting upon failures and faults. Being fully compliant with the Health and Safety Protocol. Achieving a prompt effective response to emergency situations, diagnosing faults, and initiating action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within the premises. Conducting the operation of the contract in a pro-active manner to minimize difficulties with the building environmental systems. Liaising with specialist sub-contractors and engineers from other disciplines to ensure the efficient operation of the plant/area without disruption to the client. The HVAC Engineer will have the following Skills & Experience: The candidate MUST have either A or B below: City & Guild qualification (or equivalent) in pipe fitting and general plumbing in commercial systems including domestic water, gas, air, chilled water, drainage systems, extraction systems, ventilation systems etc. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heating and Ventilating Systems and Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. In addition, the candidate must qualify with experience in C below: Experience on preventive and reactive work. Maintenance of similar size equipment in a similar size commercial building. Good technical knowledge and hands-on experience on a wide range of equipment. Ability to organize work, plan, and cope well under pressure. You must also hold a valid UK Driving license. We’ll ensure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role. You will work 40 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level. You must be flexible and willing to support the team with other site general planned and reactive tasks including client requirements for the day-to-day running of the sites.
