We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to complete PPM and reactive maintenance (plus testing if 2391).
You will be expected to have good knowledge of qualifying electrical installations/building services on commercial estates. This is a permanent position paying circa 40k basic for standard maintenance and 42k for electricians with test and inspection 2391 and experience. Overtime available. On-call TBC. Mon-Fri days. A van and fuel card will be supplied (personal use if declared). The role will also cover hands-on small works and maintenance duties, based across the North West area, with Warrington being a central point.
Electrician Description:
To ensure that all critical PPM's are carried out on site and carry out reactive work at the request of the end user, ensuring that this is in line with SLA's. To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering on each facility. To undertake installation works such as lighting and small power installations. To carry out fixed wire testing within the facilities (if 2391). To lead sub-contractors and ensure H&S, RAMS, and H&S documentation are correct. Working on commercial grade facilities, offices, retail, and warehouses. To provide electrical guidance and advice to FM's and site management. Plus general PPM and compliance tasks where required.
Skills & Background Required:
Recognised professional apprenticeship or equivalent. NVQ Level 3 Grade. 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations. Ideally 2391 test and inspection. Must be presentable and reliable. Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally. Valid driving license.
