What you'll do: Ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of the Project Agreement between RFM and our clients. Undertake planned, responsive and cyclical maintenance work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager. Ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment and tools. Operate at all times with safe working practices in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal, etc. Maintain asset histories, maintenance records and helpdesk reports, informing the Maintenance Manager of any follow-up action that may be required. Participate in an on-call rota providing 24 hour, 365 day cover to the facilities. Provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services. Maintain awareness of RFM’s policies, procedures and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM’s operational requirements. What you'll need: Experience in Commercial boilers and affiliated plant. CCN1 CENWAT CPA1 HTR1 certifications. Experience of working within Critical Environments with a working knowledge of the Clean Room Validation Process. Managing both Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Building Management Control Systems (BMS). Good IT skills and fluency with a range of PC packages. Minimum 2 years experience in installation and servicing A/C, HVAC & Chilled Water Systems and associated plant. Minimum: City & Guilds 2079 F Gas & ODS Regulations. IPAF / PASMA certified. Experience in Managing Permit to Work Systems, including Working at Height, use of high-level and powered access equipment, and the use of portable and fixed ladders. Water Management experience of L8. Who we’re looking for: The post holder will work as part of the mobile maintenance team with continuing responsibility for the provision of a comprehensive, high-quality Reactive Maintenance, Planned and Lifecycle service for the Scottish Fire & Rescue (SFRS) contract within the given region. Each postholder will have a designated core skill (Maintenance Plumber) and will be expected to lead in this area, but will also be expected to undertake any property maintenance work within their range of competence.
