Mobile Messaging Engineer (Secure)

SC Clearance required as a minimum to start work, must be DV clearable Are you a skilled Mobile Messaging Engineer with a proven track record of working in secure environments? We are seeking a proactive professional to join our team on a 6-month contract, where you'll manage and support critical messaging systems within high-security settings. Key Responsibilities: Exchange Administration
Manage Microsoft Exchange servers (2013/2016/2019), including mailbox databases, connectors, and transport rules. Configure and troubleshoot mail flow, mailbox permissions, and distribution groups. Monitor and optimize server performance and security.
Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES)
Provide administration and support for BES. Configure and troubleshoot Blackberry devices and services. Ensure effective integration of Blackberry services with messaging platforms.
Skype for Business
Support Skype for Business services, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Manage user accounts, presence, and conferencing features. Integrate Skype with Exchange and other collaboration tools.
Incident & Problem Management
Resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal impact on operations. Maintain security and compliance within all messaging platforms.
Essential Skills & Experience: Proven expertise in Microsoft Exchange (2013/2016/2019) administration. Strong understanding of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP). Experience in secure environments, with SC Clearance as a minimum. Highly Desirable Skills: Administration of Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES). Knowledge of Skype for Business. Familiarity with email archiving solutions and compliance requirements. Understanding of Active Directory integration with messaging systems. Experience with VMware, NetApp SAN, and Cohesity backups. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and automation of BAU processes. Soft Skills: Team player with the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplined teams. Adaptability to changing requirements and timeframes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interface with technical and business stakeholders. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
