As an optometrist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional eye care services tailored to each patient’s unique needs. You will be integral to our mission of improving lives through better sight and hearing, upholding the highest standards of professionalism, and fostering a collaborative and supportive practice environment. This role is perfect for an inspiring, adaptable, and experienced optometrist who can work flexibly across various locations within the Leightons network. You’ll have a keen interest in new technologies and innovative practices, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues and equipment. You’ll be a strong team player, building trusted relationships with branch teams and local healthcare stakeholders while educating and delighting everyone you engage with. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams
Provide a range of clinical services including emergency eye care, paediatric care, and myopia management
Tailor recommendations to address each patient’s needs and preferences
Maintain high standards of professionalism, including adherence to GOC standards
Work in a mobile clinical capacity across various locations
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff
Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and monitor performance
Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained and in good working order
